We are really excited that Dan Snow, British historian, TV presenter, podcaster and author is coming to Applemore College on Wednesday 17 June at 7pm (doors open at 6.30pm).
He has presented TV programmes such as Pompeii: Life in the City with Dan Snow, Operation Grand Canyon with Dan Snow and Hadrian. In 2022, he was part of the Endurance22 expedition that found Sir Ernest Shackleton's lost vessel Endurance in the Antarctic.
Dan was awarded an MBE in Queen Elizabeth’s 2019 Birthday Honours for services to history and is also an Honorary Captain in the Royal Naval Reserve. He hosts a history podcast called Dan Snow’s History Hit which is available on BBC Sounds.
